1. What Poruch is
Poruch is an app for finding city events on a map, hosting your own meetups and joining others. It is provided by Taras Vovchenko, a private individual based in Ukraine ("we"), free of charge and not as a business. Some events are imported from public listings and ticketing sites with their source shown; others are created by users.
We are not the organizer of any event, do not sell tickets and are not a party to arrangements between organizers and attendees. "Buy ticket" opens the source website; payment and refunds follow its rules.
2. Accounts
- You must be 18 or older. Date of birth is checked at sign-up; misstating your age is grounds for account deletion.
- One account per person. You are responsible for your password and for activity under your account.
- Your display name must not impersonate another person or organization.
- You can delete your account at any time: Profile → Delete account, or via the instructions.
3. Events you create
- By publishing an event you confirm you are entitled to host it and that the place, time and description are accurate.
- You may set age limits, capacity and attendee approval. Capacity is enforced by the server; a freed place goes to the first person in the waiting list.
- Cancel events that will not happen. Attendees see "Cancelled" and receive reminders only for active events.
- External chat links (Telegram, Instagram, etc.) are not verified by us; follow them at your own discretion.
- We limit the number of events per day and messages per minute to protect the community from spam.
4. User content and community rules
Titles, descriptions, photos and chat messages are user content. You keep ownership and grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display it in the app to other users for as long as the event or account exists.
You must not post or send:
- sexual content, violence or cruelty;
- hate speech, threats, harassment or discrimination;
- events that break the law, including gambling, controlled substances or weapons;
- other people's personal data without consent, scams, pyramid schemes, or prepayment collection without a real event;
- spam, mass duplicate events, or advertising unrelated to a real meetup;
- content that infringes copyright or impersonates a person or organization;
- anything targeting minors, or inviting minors to adult events.
Moderation. Any event, message or user can be reported from the event screen ("Report") or blocked. We review reports within 24 hours, remove violating content and may restrict or delete accounts without notice. A user you block cannot see your events and you cannot see theirs. We are not obliged to pre-screen content but may remove any content at our discretion.
Zero tolerance. We have no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. Violators lose access to the platform, and where a crime is suspected we share data with law enforcement.
5. Real-world meetings
Events happen outside the app, with people you may not know. Assess risks yourself: choose public places, tell someone where you are going, do not pay in advance. We do not verify organizers or attendees and are not liable for their actions, the venue or the event itself.
6. Imported events
Events from listings and ticketing services are shown with their source name and link. We do not guarantee accuracy of time, price or availability; the source site is authoritative. Rights holders who want an event removed or corrected may email hello@poriad.app.
7. Notifications and location
Location is used only on your request to center the map. Push notifications concern only your events: new messages and join requests. Both permissions can be disabled in device settings and the app keeps working.
8. Our intellectual property
The app, its design, name and icon belong to us. The map uses OpenStreetMap data (© OpenStreetMap contributors, ODbL), OpenFreeMap tiles and the MapLibre engine. You may not copy, decompile or create derivative works from the app except where permitted by law.
9. Liability
The app is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law we are not liable for indirect damages, lost profits, actions of other users, service unavailability or errors in event data. Our aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the last 12 months (currently zero; the app is free).
10. Termination
You may stop using the app at any time by deleting your account. We may suspend or delete accounts for violating these Terms, when required by law, or if the service is discontinued, giving 14 days' notice where possible.
11. Changes
We announce material changes in the app at least 14 days in advance. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the new version.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine. Disputes are resolved by negotiation and, failing that, by the courts of Ukraine in accordance with applicable law.
